For your engine to last, there are tolerances that need to be met. Not just the obvious tolerances of piston gap, bore size and bearing clearance—but dust and moisture need to be controlled as well. Dust and contaminants in the critical areas of your freshly rebuilt engine will kill it as fast as 20 PSI of boost will melt the spaghetti rods in a stock RB30. Here at Basely Automotive we build engines in a meticulously maintained engine building room that’s dust and climate controlled, with modern, up to date tooling. This means your engine isn’t just rebuilt to factory (or performance) spec, it’s built to last. Ever had an engine rebuilt, and it just didn’t quite feel right? Maybe your diesel motor seems lower on power than it used to, or your petrol turbo car isn’t quite responding how you expected. Our engine building service doesn’t stop at the building itself. We’ll install your fresh motor, get everything put back together and get it onto the dyno to see how we did. You’ll leave Basely Automotive with a rebuilt engine and a dyno sheet to show exactly how much power you’ve gotten back or added to your vehicle.
